To improve soldiers’ preparedness for contemporary threats, the Hellenic Armed Forces has introduced a cutting-edge combat uniform. The uniform includes cutting-edge elements such a novel helmet, body armor, first aid kit, and specially designed shoes and gear that incorporate biometric sensors. Furthermore, it is lighter and constructed of contemporary materials, giving soldiers more flexibility in a variety of situations. The full cost of the combat equipment program, which is a component of Greece’s long-term military modernization plan, is 204 million euros ($212 million).
