General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a $120-million task order to deploy an AI-enabled zero-trust cybersecurity system across 187 US Air Force bases worldwide. Under the Next Generation Gateway program, GDIT will roll out its Everest Zero Trust Digital Accelerator to protect data across all classification levels for more than one million users. The system uses AI to rapidly detect and respond to cyber threats while enforcing continuous authentication. The effort aligns with the Department of Defense’s broader push to implement zero-trust architectures across cloud and enterprise networks.
