The Defense Acquisition and Program Administration (DAPA) of South Korea has authorized the creation of an enhanced version of the long-range surface-to-air missile (L-SAM). Through 2028, a total of 567.7 billion South Korean won ($388 million) has been allocated for the project. Along with 19 other businesses, the state-owned Agency for Defense Development will be involved in the creation.
