As part of a strategic plan launched in 2023, Sweden has ordered 100 medical-configured 4×4 vehicles for its defense forces.
The second order in a 3,000-vehicle plan, this purchase is based on Iveco’s proven Multipurpose Utility Vehicle platform.
Previously, 400 vehicles were ordered: 200 for cargo, 100 for soldiers, and 100 for medical roles.
This phase of the program will be completed by 2027, with the possibility of a five-year extension.
Each vehicle delivery includes a sustainment package to ensure long-term deployment and serviceability.
