BAE Systems has joined forces with systems integrator PragoData to enhance the Czech Republic’s management of military equipment through Integrated Product Support solutions. The collaboration focuses on asset tracking and lifecycle maintenance for armored vehicles and other complex defense systems. A key component is BAE’s PropheSEA software, already utilized by the Royal Navy and NATO partners, which allows real-time performance monitoring and links to Eurostep’s ShareAspace platform for secure logistics coordination. The partnership aims to improve operational readiness while reducing downtime for equipment in service. This initiative supports broader modernization goals, as Czechia plans to increase defense spending to three percent of GDP by 2030. Recent deliveries include the first CV90 MkIV infantry fighting vehicle, part of a 200-unit contract, and the approval of 44 Leopard 2A8 tanks valued at over $1.56 billion, with deliveries scheduled from 2028 to 2031. The agreement underlines the Czech Republic’s ongoing effort to modernize its defense infrastructure and strengthen local industrial capabilities.
