Austal has delivered the Royal Australian Navy’s eighth Evolved Cape-class patrol vessel, the ADV Cape Schanck (313), at its Henderson facility in Western Australia. This delivery is part of Canberra’s initiative to replace the aging Armidale-class boats, which have been in service since the 2000s. The fleet’s seventh vessel, ADV Cape Solander (312), was handed over in September 2024
