Australia has significantly expanded its defense cooperation with the Philippines in 2025, launching over 20 joint training exercises and personnel exchanges—more than double last year’s engagements. The expanded program falls under the Joint Australian Training Team–Philippines initiative, aimed at enhancing regional security and bilateral military interoperability through increased tactical collaboration and knowledge sharing.
