Australian defense company Electro Optic Systems (EOS) has secured a €71.4 million ($83 million) order from a European NATO state for a 100-kilowatt-class laser counter-drone system. The multi-year deal, running from 2025 to 2028, includes spare parts, training, and documentation. Deliveries will be managed from EOS’s Singapore laser innovation center. This high-energy laser weapon is designed to neutralize unmanned aerial threats, providing advanced defense capabilities.
