Persistent Systems will equip the British Army’s 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team with its Wave Relay tactical communications system. Using a mesh-network architecture, the platform allows soldiers to share maps, imagery, and video while maintaining connectivity even when individual nodes move or are destroyed. Supported by the Cloud Relay gateway, the system can also connect different networks through the internet, allowing commanders to maintain situational awareness across large operational areas.
