Germany has selected Fassmer to construct four new training vessels for the German Navy under the Sea-Based Training and Sea Trials (modified) program. The first vessel is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2028. The ships will support survival-at-sea instruction and maritime training, including navigation, ship handling, and safety management. Fassmer previously delivered two training boats to Germany’s naval technical authority, and officials stated the new contract affirms the platform’s effectiveness and operational value.
