“Thales and KNDS France have developed a land-based version of the RAPIDFire naval defense system, which is intended to defend high-value assets in dynamic battlefields.
The system is designed for short-range defense and is capable of countering drones, loitering munitions, low-end cruise missiles, and indirect fire threats.
Supported by a 140-round ready rack that allows it to maintain continuous fire with fewer reloads, it can provide point defense coverage up to 4 kilometers (2.5 miles).
