Indra has successfully tested its Nemus active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar on Leopard main battle tanks.

Designed for modern combat environments where drones pose a significant threat, the Nemus is a small and lightweight AESA radar that can identify false targets, resist jamming, and operate in extreme weather conditions.

The Spanish defense company tested the Nemus’ integration with the tanks, assessing its ability to detect, identify, and track drones, projectiles, and other anti-tank threats during an exercise at the Spanish Army’s Armored Units Instruction Center in Zaragoza.

Additionally, the tests were a continuation of the same exercise held in July 2024 at the Army’s Radio Evaluation and Experimentation Center in Guadalajara.
