In order to build, develop, and provide avionics systems for the US Army’s Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program, Bell Textron has awarded a contract to GE Aerospace. Following Bell’s Milestone B approval in August 2024, the prize moves the program into the engineering and manufacturing development phase. GE Aerospace will create a digital backbone for the future attack helicopter under the subcontract, including Time-Sensitive Networking for secure, high-speed data transfer.
