Italy has expanded its logistics modernization effort with a follow-on order for 658 additional tactical trucks from Iveco Defence Vehicles, bringing total procurement to 2,111 systems. The extended contract, active until 2039, includes multiple mission variants such as tankers, container carriers, recovery trucks, and towing platforms. IDV will also deliver full lifecycle support. Replacing aging legacy fleets, the modernized logistics vehicles are intended to unify and enhance the army’s transport and support capabilities.
