Lithuania is investing €240 million to expand and modernize the Pabradė Training Area, improving barracks, dining halls, and fitness facilities to support permanent logistical needs for US rotational forces. A new “Soldier Center” was inaugurated to honor four US soldiers killed in a training accident. The upgrades strengthen NATO readiness and allow more than 1,000 rotating US personnel to operate seamlessly with Lithuanian troops. Recent joint activities include Iron Wolf 2025, involving 3,700 troops and 700 vehicles, and US-Lithuanian HIMARS live-fire training during BALTOPS 2025.
