The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration has signed an agreement with OSI Maritime Systems for the installation of its cutting-edge Electronic Chart Precise Integrated Navigation System (ECPINS) on Swedish submarines. The agreement covers the deployment of the current version of ECPINS through ECPINS 7 as well as the provision of multi-year in-service support. At least 70% of the ECPINS is compliant with NATO’s Warship Electronic Chart Display and Information System (WECDIS) Edition 2 standard and at least 70% of Edition 3.
