Lockheed Martin and Raytheon are bidding for the US Army’s Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML) project, which seeks highly mobile, optionally-crewed launchers. The CAML Heavy variant, on the M1075 vehicle, will fire Tomahawk or PAC-3 missiles, while the CAML Medium, based on FMTV trucks, will launch MLRS or IFPC AIM-9X interceptors. Both firms confirmed participation, but withheld technical details about their submissions.
