Saab announced on 13 December 2024 that it had received a contract from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to supply its Sea Giraffe 1X radar systems to the Swedish Navy. The SEK 340 million (EUR 29.5 million) agreement includes multiple configurations of the radar for both shipboard installation and training applications, with deliveries planned through 2026.
