Taiwan has taken delivery of its first batch of MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) from the United States. While the exact quantity remains undisclosed, a Taiwanese military source told state-run outlet CNA that the shipment includes the system’s longest-range variant, capable of reaching targets up to 300 kilometers (186 miles) away. The acquisition significantly enhances Taiwan’s strike capability, placing parts of mainland China within operational range.
