With artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities, RTX has released its first-ever aircraft radar warning receiver (RWR). The cutting-edge technology makes use of the company’s Cognitive Algorithm Deployment System (CADS), which facilitates the integration of AI/ML models into older RWRs. The CADS integrates the newest embedded graphics processing unit with Deepwave’s computing stack, enabling threat processing at the sensor level. This enables the RWR to employ cognitive strategies to improve its ability to identify, categorize, and prioritize threats.
