Turkish contractor ASFAT revealed the TF-2000, Turkey’s first indigenous air and missile defense destroyer. Developed under the MILGEM program, the 149-meter vessel features layered protection against guided and ballistic missiles. The design presented at IDEF 2025 in Istanbul includes a reinforced mast housing ASELSAN’s CAFRAD dual-band AESA radar suite, providing advanced situational awareness and targeting capabilities for modern naval defense.
