V2X and Horstman Group are collaborating to enhance the mobility of the US Marine Corps’ Amphibious Combat Vehicle through the integration of Hydrostrut suspension technology. The hydro-pneumatic system improves handling and efficiency by combining damping and load-bearing elements into a single package. The order builds on earlier deliveries and testing, with new shipments beginning later this year. The upgrade supports the Marines’ transition from legacy Assault Amphibious Vehicles to a more capable, modular ACV fleet optimized for ship-to-shore and expeditionary missions.
