The U.S. Navy has officially received Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 114, part of its Ship-to-Shore Connector program. Built by Textron Systems, the new craft replaces legacy LCACs with improved reliability, fuel efficiency, and modernized navigation systems. With four Rolls-Royce MT7 gas turbines, fly-by-wire controls, and compatibility with amphibious assault ships, LCAC 114 enhances the Navy’s ability to project power in contested littoral zones.
