The Conventional Prompt Strike, the first sea-based hypersonic missile in the United States, has undergone an end-to-end flight test by the U.S. Navy.The test, which was carried out at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, marked the debut of the cold-gas launch method.The hot launch approach involves the missile igniting within the launch cell.
