Indra is under contract with Canada to supply around 600 radios for its air traffic management infrastructure. The agreement, which is worth more than 13 million euros ($13.5 million), will see the Spanish firm’s Park Air T6 voice-over-internet protocol ground-to-air communication solutions take the place of the government agency’s current equipment. These capabilities will be combined with M7 radios that have a secure connection to the frequencies used by NATO members and other defense users.
