In a significant boost to its missile division, Lockheed Martin has secured a $999 million indefinite-delivery contract to provide end-to-end support for the JASSM and LRASM weapons systems for the US Air Force. The multi-year deal includes production, system upgrades, technical integration, and sustainability efforts to keep the advanced missiles at peak effectiveness. The project will be managed out of Orlando, with a completion target set for July 2030.

The JASSM, known for its stealthy air-launched profile and lethal payload, is a mainstay in the Air Force’s arsenal for deep-strike operations. Recent contract updates feature a focus on expanded integration capabilities and improved navigation/targeting modules. Through this long-term partnership, Lockheed aims to deliver continual improvements, positioning JASSM and LRASM as leading missile solutions for the next decade of US and allied defense strategies.
