The Australian Army is advancing its drone warfare capabilities by introducing FPV attack drone training across its units. Soldiers are being trained to build, modify, and operate drones under a specialized course conducted in Victoria. This follows earlier training focused on reconnaissance drones and payload deployment. Inspired by battlefield developments in Ukraine, the initiative aims to enhance tactical flexibility using low-cost, high-impact drone systems. The program ensures soldiers can apply these skills in real combat scenarios and joint operations.
