Lockheed Martin has introduced a scalable, layered counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) designed to detect, track, and neutralize threats. The company, along with undisclosed partners, successfully demonstrated the system’s ability to counter small UAVs, both individually and in swarm scenarios. The system relies on a network of sensors capable of detecting multiple small, low-flying drones. These sensors feed data into a command-and-control system that classifies threats, selects appropriate countermeasures, and manages multiple engagements simultaneously.
