Anduril Industries’ Barracuda-100M autonomous air vehicle has successfully completed critical flight tests under the US Army’s High-Speed Maneuverable Missile (HSMM) program. Conducted in May 2025, these trials validated the system’s high-speed performance and extreme agility, advancing its development as a precision strike asset. Barracuda-100M is engineered for mass production and integrates the Precision Target Acquisition Seeker (PTAS), which allows autonomous target identification and engagement via a Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) camera. It uses Anduril’s Lattice autonomy software for real-time mission adaptation and mid-flight re-targeting. The test success positions Barracuda-100M as a cost-effective, next-gen cruise missile alternative in future battlefields.
