AeroVironment, Inc. has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, Denmark, which hosts the UAS Denmark Test Center. This agreement seeks to jointly utilize the center’s extensive airspace and advanced testing facilities to support AeroVironment’s uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) demonstrations, mission training, and customer integration across the region.
The partnership is designed to foster collaborative research and development (R&D) efforts and to boost the UAS Denmark Test Center’s role as a leading hub for UAS innovation, evaluation, and operational readiness in the region.
This MOU builds on AeroVironment’s February 2025 Framework Agreement with the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), through which AeroVironment provides advanced UAS, training, and lifecycle support to enhance the Danish Armed Forces’ ISR capabilities. The collaboration with UAS Denmark further underscores AeroVironment’s dedication to delivering scalable and combat-proven UAS solutions.
With this formal partnership, AeroVironment expands its global alliances and operational support, helping allied forces maintain mission readiness in evolving operational environments.
