Baykar and Leonardo, two defense firms, have agreed to collaborate on the manufacture of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) under a memorandum of understanding. According to the agreement, the Italian and Turkish businesses will form a joint venture to develop, produce, and maintain UAS in order to meet Europe’s growing demand, which is anticipated to reach $100 billion over the next ten years.
