Canadian drone manufacturer Draganfly has secured a contract to supply its Commander3 XL UAV to a major US Department of Defense branch. The drone, optimized for ISR missions and heavy-lift tasks, features modular payloads, 45 mph speed, and 35-minute flight endurance (20 minutes when loaded). Its hybrid variant includes a liquid-cooled Pegasus engine, boosting range and fuel flexibility. Draganfly recently expanded operations to Tampa, Florida, to support defense clients.
