Colombia’s defense ministry has unveiled “Dragom,” the nation’s first domestically developed military drone, marking a major step toward localizing its defense capabilities. Developed by the Colombian Aeronautical Industry Corporation (CIAC), the unmanned system is designed for both reconnaissance and precision-strike missions.

Dragom made its public debut at the F-AIR Aeronautical Fair in Rionegro. The drone features 90-minute autonomous flight capability, high-resolution cameras, secure satellite navigation, and integrated launch software.
