Denmark has formed a new Arctic-focused squadron equipped with MQ-9B SeaGuardian unmanned aircraft to strengthen surveillance over Greenland. The reestablished 729 Squadron will operate under the Air Transport Wing from Aalborg. Capable of 30-hour endurance and satellite-controlled missions, the SeaGuardian enhances maritime and over-the-horizon monitoring capabilities.
