The Danish Army has received eight unmanned ground vehicles for evaluation, comprising four THeMIS systems from Milrem Robotics and four MFP-1 units from XRC Robotics. The trial program, based in Slagelse, aims to test technical performance, operational reliability, and potential tactical uses, informed by recent conflict experience in Ukraine. The larger THeMIS UGV can carry up to 1,200 kg, travel 200 km, and supports modular payloads including remote weapon stations. The compact MFP-1 weighs 25 kg, transports 35 kg of payload, and achieves speeds up to 60 km/h. Soldiers will assess applications in logistics, reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, and front-line support.
