Textron Systems is advancing its autonomous maritime lineup with a fifth-generation Multi-Mission Unmanned Surface Vessel (MMUSV) that offers higher payload capacity, extended operational reach, and expanded mission versatility.
Constructed on the proven common unmanned surface vehicle (CUSV) framework, the new vessel can carry up to 5,900 kilograms (13,000 pounds), nearly double that of previous models.
This additional payload, together with improved endurance and range, allows the MMUSV to perform multiple roles, including surface warfare, mine countermeasures, ISR, and signals intelligence operations.
