Turkey has introduced the Tayfun Block-4, a hypersonic ballistic missile with high maneuverability and enhanced survivability against modern air defenses. The missile is an advanced version of the original Tayfun short-range system tested in 2022. It measures 6.5 meters, weighs 2,300 kilograms, and runs on solid composite propellant. The Block-4 represents a significant step in Turkey’s efforts to enter the global hypersonic missile race.
