Rhode Island-based HavocAI has raised $85 million to expand production of unmanned surface vessels and accelerate partnerships with the US military and allied nations. The funding supports both proprietary AI-upgraded commercial vessels and in-house USV designs. The company currently serves US Navy and Army contracts while testing larger autonomous platforms in Rhode Island. HavocAI’s technology allows minimal human oversight, integrating navigation and coordination capabilities into autonomous vessels for reconnaissance, surveillance, and combat support missions.
