Ukraine’s counter-drone capabilities have been reinforced with the deployment of General Cherry’s AIR SPEED interceptor, a lightweight, high-performance system built for rapid engagements. With a top speed exceeding 230 kilometers per hour, the interceptor can pursue and neutralize small, fast-moving aerial threats with precision. Its compact airframe improves maneuverability while maintaining the speed needed to counter both rotary- and fixed-wing UAVs, including loitering munitions. Already fielded in combat zones, AIR SPEED has been credited with disrupting enemy reconnaissance and strike operations. The system adds to General Cherry’s growing interceptor lineup and is now accessible through the Brave1 platform, facilitating rapid adoption by Ukrainian defense units amid ongoing aerial threats.
