Two Hyderabad-based companies have collaborated to create India’s first “dual stealth drone,” a platform engineered for low observability across both radar and infrared (IR) spectrums. Central to the design is a new stealth coating called RAMA (Radar Absorption & Multispectral Adaptive), developed by Veera Dynamics. This nanotechnology-based material can be applied as a paint or wrap on military equipment, rendering them harder to detect. The coating integrates two carbon-based compounds that absorb radar signals and convert them into heat, which is then dispersed at a rate of 1.5°C per second. The drone combines this innovative material with autonomous flight systems to provide enhanced survivability and performance in hostile environments
