L3Harris Technologies has received a follow-on contract worth up to $200 million to manufacture additional solid rocket motors for Lockheed Martin’s GMLRS Insensitive Munition. The order marks the first production run processed through L3Harris’ newly established Camden, Arkansas facility, built with Defense Production Act funding. The site enables a production capacity increase of more than 30 percent, helping meet surging US and allied demand. GMLRS IM rockets are valued for their precision, safety in storage and transport, and operational reliability, making them a cornerstone munition for modern artillery forces.
