The Latvian Ministry of Defence has inked a procurement deal for Israeli Spike anti-tank missiles to equip national forces.
Totaling €81 million ($92.6 million), the contract covers an unknown number of missile units, warheads, and accessories.
It also includes provisions for Latvian companies to perform 30 percent of the work to support local defense growth.
Germany’s EuroSpike — a partnership among Rheinmetall, Diehl Defence, and Rafael — will handle the deliveries.
Latvia will begin receiving the systems in 2028.
