Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace will provide remote weapon turrets for the US Marine Corps’ ACV-30 under a $118-million deal, potentially rising to $271.5 million. The contract covers 101 Protector RT20 turrets, built between Norway and Pennsylvania, and will be completed by September 2027. This forms part of the US Marine Corps’ fleet modernization to replace older vehicles. The RT20 features advanced control systems, a 30mm cannon, 7.62mm coaxial gun, hunter-killer targeting, and has an engagement range up to 3,000 meters.
