The MATARIS family comprises four types of remotely operated munitions, offering both short- and medium-range options, each fitted with a custom warhead developed by KNDS:

MT-10: Rotary-wing platform with a 10 km range

MX-10 DAMOCLES: Quadcopter with a 10 km range

MV-25 OSKAR: Fixed-wing platform with a 25 km range

MV-100 VELOCE 330: Fixed-wing platform with a 100 km range

Developed rapidly to address an urgent capability gap in the French military, the MATARIS range was built in collaboration with drone experts DELAIR and EOS TECHNOLOGIE.
The MX-10 DAMOCLES is entering French Army service in July 2025, just one year after development began under the French MoD’s LMS Short-Range program. Its quadcopter wing, produced by DELAIR, combined with a fragmentation-incendiary warhead from KNDS Ammo France, makes it capable of neutralizing infantry, unarmored vehicles, and light armor. KNDS and DELAIR are now positioned to mass-produce short-range remotely operated munitions for France.

The MV-25 OSKAR is already operational in Ukraine, developed under the COLIBRI project launched in 2022 by France’s Defense Innovation Agency (AID). It underwent successful live-fire trials in June 2024 and has been well-received by both Ukrainian and French forces.

For medium-range missions, KNDS has teamed up with EOS TECHNOLOGIE. The VELOCE 330 platform offers a 100 km range and can exceed speeds of 400 km/h, enabled by a turbine engine and advanced aerodynamics. KNDS developed a specialized 2.5 kg anti-armor warhead based on BONUS shell technology, with a live-fire test planned for late 2025.

MATARIS munitions are designed to be user-friendly, highly secure with KNDS’s electronic arming systems, and capable of engaging a wide variety of battlefield threats. KNDS, along with DELAIR and EOS TECHNOLOGIE, now offers France a fully indigenous, rapid-response solution for remotely operated munitions.
