Morocco is reportedly gearing up to receive an undisclosed number of Bayraktar Akinci drones from Turkey, with deliveries expected to begin in February next year, according to local media. This development follows the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces’ earlier deal in 2021 worth 626 million dirhams (approximately $70 million) for the acquisition of 13 Bayraktar TB2 combat drones, which included ground control stations and advanced simulation systems. The move signals Morocco’s continued investment in expanding its unmanned aerial capabilities.
