Ondas Holdings has announced an $80-million agreement to acquire Roboteam, an Israeli firm known for producing rugged unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for military and security operations. The acquisition is expected to significantly expand Ondas’ autonomous systems portfolio by integrating ground robotics with its existing aerial drone, counter-UAS, and intelligence technologies. Roboteam manufactures a range of multi-mission UGVs designed for explosive ordnance disposal, reconnaissance, and operations in dangerous or confined environments. These platforms vary from compact 1.5-kilogram units to large systems weighing more than 1,000 kilograms, giving defense and security forces flexible options for diverse missions. Its robots are already deployed by over 30 militaries worldwide, including the US and Israel, as well as other major defense customers. The acquisition also brings Roboteam’s command-and-control suite, Roboteam HUB, into Ondas’ offerings. This software integrates different robotic systems into a unified operational picture, enabling coordinated, multi-domain missions across air and ground assets. Ondas projects that Roboteam will add $3–$4 million in revenue during the last quarter of 2025 and at least $30 million throughout 2026. The Israeli company recently secured more than $20 million in orders from an existing military client, with deliveries planned through fiscal year 2026, further strengthening its order backlog and future revenue potential. With this acquisition, Ondas aims to establish a more comprehensive robotics ecosystem, enhancing mission automation, interoperability, and operational efficiency for defense and homeland-security users.
