Poland has finalized a $310 million agreement with General Atomics for the acquisition of MQ-9B SkyGuardian drones, marking its first formal purchase of this variant. The contract was signed on December 12 by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense W?adys?aw Kosiniak-Kamysz. While this represents Poland’s initial procurement of the SkyGuardian, the country has been operating similar systems since February 2023 under a $70.6 million lease deal for MQ-9A Reapers, reflecting its growing commitment to advanced unmanned aerial capabilities.
