Poland has agreed to partner with Anduril to co-develop and manufacture autonomous air systems, notably a domestically produced version of the Barracuda-500M.
The MoU between Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and Anduril commits both parties to collaborate on design, production, and integration, leveraging Polish suppliers within the PGZ group.
Designed for deployment from F-16 fighters or C-130 transports, the Barracuda-500M carries a 45 kg (100 lb) payload and has an estimated range of 500 nautical miles (≈575 miles/926 km). It targets both stationary and mobile threats at sea and on land.
Part of the Barracuda-M line launched in September 2024, the weapon emphasizes low cost, modularity, and producibility — using standard commercial parts across six sub-systems and requiring minimal specialized tooling for quick ramp-up.
