The UK Ministry of Defense has given Chemring Group’s subsidiary Roke a framework agreement to oversee a variety of research projects that support the nation’s missile defense.
A collaborative endeavor to safeguard the UK and its allies against present and future threats, such as hypersonic and ballistic missiles, is included in the 251 million pound ($333 million) deal.
Roke will provide vital components of the project in collaboration with the UK Missile Defence Centre (MDC) and collaborate with industry partners who are in charge of carrying out the majority of the contract.
The job involves bringing together professionals from all over the UK defense industry.
A UK-based workforce will provide more than 95% of the contract value, contributing to the development and maintenance of independent missile defense systems.
