Spain has inducted its first unmanned surface vessel, the Sead 23, into naval service, marking the start of manned-unmanned teaming. Assigned to the CEVENTA unit, the 7-meter platform will support surveillance, reconnaissance, and mine countermeasure missions. Built by Seadrone, the USV enhances operational flexibility while reducing risk to personnel.
